FINANCE OFFICER – PROCUREMENT (WESTERN)

The position will be based at the Authority’s Navutu Office in Lautoka and will report to the Unit Leader Procurement Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Purchase Orders both local and overseas are raised within the approved budgetary allocation and approved delegation framework and in compliance with EFL Financial policies and procedures;
  • Ensure complete and accurate procurement accounting - batches are compiled, approved and processed incorporating Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices and  Receipt into NAVISION Financial  System;
  • Monthly reconciliations of Suppliers statements;
  • Perform General Ledger reconciliation;
  • Ensure FEAs internal controls are maintained and monitored;
  • Conduct Quarterly EFL Inventory Stock take;
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Accountants, Unit Leaders and CFO.

Key Requirements

  • The candidate must have minimum qualification of a Diploma in Accounting / Finance or Business Studies from a recognized tertiary institute;
  • Experience with NAVISION Accounting Package plus some years of experience in the similar field will be an added advantage.
