The FEA sincerely apologizes for the power disruptions caused to our valued customers due to the prevailing weather conditions.

We had lost power supply from the Wailoa Power Station to Cunningham in Suva and Vuda in Lautoka which caused power disruptions to most parts of Viti Levu on Sunday 3rd April, 2016. These unplanned outages was due to the inclement weather conditions that we were experiencing on the day.

The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) acknowledges receipt of a complaint of two bullocks getting electrocuted due to a fallen power line at Saru, Navala Road, Lautoka.

Our investigations have been completed and the FEA wishes to advise that the owner of the bullocks will be fully compensated for their loss as soon as we have formalized the payment details.

The FEA would like to take this opportunity to remind the public to treat all fallen power lines as ‘live’.

The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) acknowledges complaints received from customers residing in the Nawaicoba (Nadi) area regarding delays in the restoration of power supply following Tropical Cyclone Winston.

The FEA advises our valued customers that the damage caused by TC Winston to the electricity network is immense.
